Artificial insemination
Artificial insemination is a specific procedure that is carried out at the surgery "Dinulovic".
It is a method of therapy implemented in infertile couples if the Fallopian tubes are not blocked. Artificial insemination is carried out in the following cases:
- Reduced number, mobility or vitality of male reproductive cells where female sexual organs are normal and functioning
- Immune problems especially the presence of antibodies affecting male fertility cells in the mucous of the cervix
- Where both partners have normal sexual organs but there has not been a pregnancy in the last 3-5 years of living together
- Where there are anomalies of the male sexual organ
- Inability to perform a sexual act due to unknown reasons
Diagnostic procedures:
- Gynaecological examination
- Cytological tests
- Colposcopy
- Hormone tests
- HSG - X-ray of the uterus and Fallopian tubes or ultra-sound of the uterus and Fallopian tubes
- Bacteriological examination of both partners
- Establishing the male fertility with a spermogram
- The use of ultra-sound to establish the best time for fertilisation
